Toroidal transformers offer many desirable characteristics, such as low noise, low stray-field, smaller size, reduced weight, and higher efficiency, which may be required or desirable in many products. Unique design and mounting options determine these characteristics in each series.
Across our standard range, we use grain-oriented silicon steel (GOSS) cores. All GOSS cores are manufactured and annealed in-house.
All parts are manufactured using UL/CSA listed materials and are fully RoHS and REACH compliant.

Product Safety Approvals
Talema has invested considerable time and effort to obtain “family approvals” enabling automatic recognition of custom transformers without having to send each new design to a certified test facility for approval, saving the customer both time and money. Our catalog contains UL-recognized components, DEKRA approvals to European standards, and IEC CB certificates for worldwide approvals.
